Hyderabad: Once Congress party comes to power in Telangana, a public durbar will be held at the secretariat, TPCC president Revanth Reddy announced while participating in a press meet in Hyderabad on Sunday under the auspices of the Telangana Journalists Study Forum. He said that the Congress manifesto scares the BRS party. Chief Minister KCR is speaking indiscriminately as he knows that their party is losing power.

Revanth Reddy promised to fill more than 2 lakh jobs when they come to power. He said that the rise of Telangana should be seen in three parts - Nizam's autocratic rule, the dominance of united AP rulers, and the destruction that happened after the formation of Telangana. "If you look at the history of Telangana, you have endured hunger but you have not compromised your self-respect. That is why there was an armed peasant struggle against the Nizam's autocratic rule," he said.

He criticised that there was no equal development and equal opportunities in the united State. He alleged that the people of Telangana were seen as second-class citizens in the united State. That is why the people of Telangana have raised a movement for freedom, equality, and development.

He expressed anger that KCR ruled dominantly in Telangana which was won by great struggle. He said that the freedom, equality, and equal development that the people of Telangana wanted for ten years have not been achieved. That's why it is clear that the situation has arisen in Telangana which needs to be mobilised once again. He said that the people of Telangana are going to teach a lesson to the Kalvakuntla family similar to the Nizams. It has been revealed that the Congress Manifesto has been prepared to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Telangana.

He said that the policy document has been placed before the public as a yardstick for the judgment given by the people. He suggested that the media should be at the forefront of the Telangana movement in the final stage.

"KCR has no commitment to waive farmers' loans. When the Congress comes to power, we will waive the loan of Rs. 2 lakh. There is no doubt about that. KCR, KTR, Harish, and Kavitha are talking nonsense in fear of losing power. Today, they are talking like the rulers of Seemandhra after the formation of Telangana. When KCR came to power, 12,000 schools were closed in the name of rationalisation. Vacancies in government schools and colleges were not filled. TSPSC will be purged when Congress comes to power. We will fill the job vacancies on the lines of UPSC," said Revanth Reddy.

Revant Reddy called for ousting KCR who is treating people as slaves. He suggested that this should be the last movement for the people of Telangana. He said, "This movement is for administration and not for power. It is for Telangana's self-respect. People are going to give a clear verdict in this election. It is alleged that KCR does not know the spirit of federalism. He thinks it as a monarchy."

He further said, "KCR is trying to make people believe by telling lies sitting in the CM’s post. KCR is spreading false propaganda that there will be no electricity if Congress comes."

"Isn't KCR buying electricity from Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh? Revanth asked. He accused KCR as an incapable CM who cannot produce the electricity in the State but making false accusations against Congress.

"The preferences are based on the revenue of the States. KCR is talking about Rs 2,000 pension. More than the pension given by KCR, additional money is being transferred to women along with pension in Karnataka. KCR's challenge is not withstandable. KCR owes Rs 1.8 lakh to the poor in 60 months," he said.

Revanth Reddy challenged the BJP on how a party that does not receive deposits in 110 seats will make BC Chief Minister of the State. He said that if BJP is in power in 10 States, there is only one OBC CM. He expressed anger that the BJP ignored the Congress's demand for BC census. He deplored how a party that cannot implement the BC census can make BC CM.

He said that the weaker sections are desperate to defeat KCR and BJP's strategy is to split those votes and cooperate with KCR. He commented that the BJP guarantees SC classification only for elections. Earlier, Venkaiah Naidu held a meeting on ABCD classification and said that it would be done in 100 days. He criticised the BJP for not taking steps in that direction even though the Congress says it will support the bill. He accused the committee of splitting Dalit votes from reaching the Congress.

Revanth Reddy criticised that KCR is not a Telangana activist but a useless politician. He got more than what he deserved. But the families of Telangana martyrs did not get the respect they deserved. When the Congress comes to power, we will recognise and support the families of the activists. Telangana activists will be respected at par with freedom fighters. He promised to solve the problems of journalists after coming to power.

Congress' policy is to increase income and distribute it to the poor. The Pragathi Bhavan will be renamed as Babasaheb Ambedkar Bhavan. Actions will be taken to compete with the world in terms of education, job, and employment opportunities. He said that Congress would stop the policies of demolishing the existing ones and building new ones like KCR. He said that the budget will be spent in accordance with FRBM norms. Revanth Reddy commented that the decision of the party leadership is final on who will be the CM.

Revanth Reddy said that we would identify the tenant farmers. We will give them recognition cards and help them. We will provide financial support to the land owner, tenant farmers, and farm laborers. There is no confusion in this. BRS is trying to create confusion, he criticized. KCR implied a royal seal that our six guarantees are impossible. Congress manifesto is our Bhagavad Gita, Quran, and Bible. There is no talk of a coalition in the state. No need for any doubt. He expressed confidence that the formation of a Congress government with 80-85 seats is certain.

It was flagged that a large-scale land grab was done in the name of Dharani. Revanth Reddy criticised that the land of one lakh acre of Nizam's heirs around Hyderabad has changed hands. That is why KCR is feeling sad when we say that Dharani will be cancelled.

Revanth Reddy said that manual records like Kasra Pahani will be digitised as it is by Bhumata. Dharani has become an ATM for KCR and said that a thorough investigation will be conducted on the looting in the name of Dharani. He criticised that the looting that happened during KCR's rule did not even happen during Nizam's time
