Hyderabad: BRS leader Manne Krishank on Wednesday made serious allegations against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s visit to the USA. According to the newspaper reports, Revanth signed a deal worth Rs 1000 crore with Swachh Bio, a two-week old company allegedly owned by his family, raising concerns about family rule and nepotism.

Speaking to media persons at Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday, Krishank claimed that Swachh Bio's first director is Vedavalli Sivananda Reddy, who runs a bar in Uttar Pradesh, and the second director is Anumula Jagadeesh Reddy, Revanth's brother. He pointed out that neither of them was present during the MoU signing. "Harsha Pasunoori, who is a proxy for Revanth’s brother, was in the photo with the CM," he said.

He stated that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs indicated Swachh Bio was established in July, questioning how such a new company could secure a Rs 1000-crore deal. "Revanth is exploiting State resources to benefit his family. While one brother Kondal Reddy is in Australia, two brothers Jagdeeshwar & Revanth are in USA, third Tirupathi Reddy is celebrating birthday here with city defaced with his birthday posters", Krishank accused.

He further queried the necessity of Revanth’s large entourage of 30 members to the USA, implying it was to further his brother's business interests & settle them.

Krishank highlighted that this is a clear example of family rule and misuse of power, where the State's wealth and opportunities are being funnelled to the CM's relatives. "It is unacceptable for the Chief Minister to use his position to benefit his family while ignoring the needs of the people. Is this quid pro quo or office of profit," he asked. He demanded that the Congress leaders respond to these allegations, also bringing to light an Rs 830 crore deal with Walsh Karra, another dubious company. He criticized Revanth for allegedly handing over valuable Telangana lands to bogus companies.

Krishank declared "Revanth must address these serious accusations. We will seek legal recourse against the deals made with these bogus companies. We are ready to prove our claims using publicly available information."
