Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy opined that a permanent solution to the problems facing Dharani should be studied more deeply. He said that as the land problems are increasing day by day, there is a need to frame the integrated Act. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy chaired a review of Dharani issues on Friday evening at the State Secretariat.

The records which were once available only at the village level gradually went to the mandal centre, then to the district centre and State level with the change of laws. He reminded that in the past there was an opportunity to appeal for the resolution of land issues as all the officials would report to the district collector that any problem has not been solved at the village and mandal level with Dharani.

He said that even there the problem is not being solved and the Dharani has been made without any opportunity to question any decision taken by the collectors. In this context, the Chief Minister said that wide-scale consultations should be undertaken to solve the land problems, and advice and suggestions should be received from the people.
