BRS support for Cong helped Kavitha secure bail: TG BJP

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP spokeperson NV Subhash on Tuesday has questioned BRS whether the party will merge with Congress after the support received in the release of K Kavitha from jail. After five months of imprisonment Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC K Kavitha, who is also the daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), has been granted bail by the Supreme Court in the Delhi liquor case.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Subhash said, “People will certainly ask – Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai, after Kavitha gets bail today with the generous help of ‘experienced Congress lawyers.’ Moreover, KCR supporting Congress in Rajya Sabha elections is a blatant ‘quid pro quo’ out in open. The question is , will KCR merge his defeated and deflated BRS into Congress, for good?” Slamming people who had accused BJP of aligning with BRS, Subhash said that those people will get a better understanding of what is happening in the Telangana politics. “People should ask CM Revanth Reddy led government on why till now various scams have not been investigated?” he pointed out.
