BJP for probe into land grabbing by YSRCP if NDA forms govt in AP

In the past five years, land grabbing in the Andhra Pradesh has taken two forms, one grabbing in the name of projects and the other at the instigation of regional leaders of YSaRCP, according to BJP chief spokesman for Andhra Pradesh Lanka Dinakar. He told the media here on Wednesday that land grabbing is being done through intimidation at low prices, acquisition of D Patta lands and illegal development agreements. Dinakar said incoming new government if formed by the NDA comprising TDP, BJP and Jana Sena will conduct a prompt investigation and punish the culprits on the land grabbing.
He said land grabbing took place in the name of projects in Jagan's government or in collusion with officials and at the instigation of YSRCP leaders. The BJP leader said Jagan's close aides have prepared plans to loot around four lakh acres across the State for wind and solar power projects.
He alleged that Jagan has conspired the land grabbing through Shirdi Sai Electricals and Indo Solar companies in the State. There was a quid pro quo between Jagan and Shirdi Sai Electricals. In the general elections held in the State, thousands of crores of rupees have been received by YSRCP candidates from Shirdi Sai Electricals head Vishweshwar Reddy, he alleged The BJP leader said Axis Energy Infrastructure Pvt Ltd has started to acquire thousands of acres of land in Rayalaseema in complete violation of the conditions related to solar-wind hybrid power projects.
