Bauxite mining continuing in ap: Naidu

TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu has come down heavily on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for allowing bauxite mining in several areas in undivided Visakhapatnam district under the alibi of laterite excavation.

He said in the name of laterite mining, bauxite is being excavated in the agency areas to shift it to Bharati Cements, owned by his wife YS Bharati Reddy. “The YSRCP mafia totally razed the North Andhra region to the ground,” Naidu told the meeting on Saturday at the hilly area of Araku Valley as part of the ongoing ‘Raa Kadalira’ programme.
