AP's 1st LCNG station inaugurated at Kadapa

AG&P Pratham, one of the leading players in the Indian City Gas Distribution (CGD) industry, has launched Andhra Pradesh’s first Liquified Compressed Natural Gas (LCNG) station at APIIC Industrial Park at Kadapa in YSR district.

Vijayawada: AG&P Pratham, one of the leading players in the Indian City Gas Distribution (CGD) industry, has launched Andhra Pradesh's first Liquified Compressed Natural Gas (LCNG) station at APIIC Industrial Park at Kadapa in YSR district.

The LCNG Station was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha Shaik Bepari in the presence of MP Y S Avinash Reddy, MD and CEO, AG&P Pratham Abhilesh Gupta and others. By consistently expanding its footprint in the State, AG&P Pratham aims to develop 300 plus CNG stations, serve over 26 lakhs houses, 10.000 commercial establishments and 150 industries generating more than 7,000 jobs in the next eight years across AP.

With a capacity to handle 100 tonnes of natural gas a day, the Kadapa LCNG station will cater to the requirements of YSR and Annamayya districts. The company said it will develop a 150 km pipeline network in Kadapa town of YSR district by the end of FY23. The new station will benefit 4,000 households, three industrial and 10 commercial establishments across Kadapa by March 2023. AG&P Pratham plans to launch two more LCNG stations in AP in Ojili in Tirupati district and in Rapthadu village in Anantapur district in the near future.
