Taking a break after gruelling campaigning and to while away time from an agonising wait for the elections, prominent political leaders in Andhra Pradesh have preferred to go on foreign trips along with their relatives.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy along with his wife Bharati and daughters are now on an European trip. They went in a special aircraft to London. From there they are scheduled to have a vacation in France and Switzerland, according to YSR Congress Party sources.

Leader of Opposition and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday left for an overseas trip along with his wife Bhavaneswari and others. Before his departure, his son Nara Lokesh and wife Brahmani left for abroad immediately after completion of elections on May 13 in a single phase in Andhra Pradesh. Sources said Naidu may go for a medical checkup in the United States.

Jana Sena Party president and filmstar K Pawan Kalya along with his family has also left for a foreign destination. Details regarding his rendezvous have not been made public. Minister for Industries Gudivada Amarnath is now having a vacation in Turkey with his family.

Counting in Andhra Pradesh will be made on June 4 along with all other States. The leaders are expected to take an active part in the counting of votes and hence, they are expected to return ahead of counting day.
