AP Assembly session to begin on Sept 21

Vijayawada: Amid swift changing political developments, the State Government has decided to hold the winter session of the Assembly on September 21.
The session assumes importance in the wake of the arrest of Leader of Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development scam case and announcement of Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan to contest next elections in alliance with Telugu Desam Party.
Finance and Legislative Affairs Minister Buggana Rajendranath on Friday discussed security and facility arrangements with the Chief Whip and the Whips. The Minister announced that the Legislative Assembly sessions will begin on September 21. He reviewed the arrangements and stated that the session will start at 9 am and the legislative council meetings will begin at 10 am.
He said that on the same day, a meeting of the Business Affairs Committee will be held on the agenda and modalities as to how maintain order during the discussion. Chief Whip Mudunuri Nagaraja Vara Prasada Raju, Whips Janga Krishnamurthy, Kapu Ramachandra Reddy and other officials participated.
