Alliance with BRS out of question, says Rahul
During a strategy meeting with the Telangana Congress leaders, former party chief Rahul Gandhi has made it clear that the grand old party will not have any kind of alliance with the Bharath Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana as “it works with the BJP”, sources said on Wednesday.

New Delhi: During a strategy meeting with the Telangana Congress leaders, former party chief Rahul Gandhi has made it clear that the grand old party will not have any kind of alliance with the Bharath Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana as “it works with the BJP”, sources said on Wednesday.
The Congress called the meeting of its leaders from Telangana on Tuesday to discuss the strategy for the state, which will go to polls later this year. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge chaired the meeting. According to party sources, during the meeting at the party headquarters here, Rahul Gandhi was very vocal and said that the party will not have any kind of alliance with the BRS in the state.The party source further said that Rahul Gandhi during the meeting also said that how one can imagine that BRS can be part of the alliance as it is team B of the BJP. The source said that Rahul Gandhi made it clear that the Congress will go into the Assembly polls highlighting how BRS and BJP are working together in the state.
