Tummala Explores Collaboration Opportunities with FGV During Malaysia Visit

Hyderabad: As part of his official visit to Malaysia, Minister for Agriculture Tummala Nageswara Rao visited the seed gardens, nurseries, and advanced technology-driven seed centers of FGV company on Thursday.
During the visit, Tummala met the representatives of FGV Company to discuss potential partnerships.
Telangana has already been importing seedlings from FGV Company on a large scale. During the discussions, the Minister expressed interest in establishing a seed garden in Telangana itself, exploring future possibilities for this endeavor.
He requested FGV’s support in this initiative, to which the company representatives responded positively, indicating their willingness to collaborate with the State.
Later, the Minister and his study team visited FGV's refinery, where they reviewed various products manufactured at the facility. The FGV representatives provided a detailed explanation of the safety measures taken during the refining process and the global demand for their diverse range of products.
