TTD Chairman visits Telangana Assembly

Hyderabad: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman BR Naidu paid a courtesy visit to the Telangana State Assembly on Wednesday.

During his visit, he met Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy and Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash Mudiraj in the Speaker's chamber.

The Legislature Secretary, Dr V Narasimha Charyulu, extended a warm welcome to the TTD Chairman upon his arrival at the Assembly.

Highlighting the large number of devotees from Telangana who visit Tirumala for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara, Speaker Prasad Kumar and Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy requested that recommendation letters from Telangana’s MLAs and MLCs be given priority by TTD.

Responding positively, TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu assured them that he would discuss the matter with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and ensure a prompt decision is taken to address the issue.

The event was also attended by Bhupalpally MLA Gandra Satyanarayana Rao, Legislature officials, and other dignitaries.
