Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud has warned the party workers that disciplinary action will be initiated against those who violate the party norms.

Speaking at the Congress party’s Medak district review meeting at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, the TPCC President said that he would not tolerate indiscipline and would take stern action against dissenting party members.

Expressing the dissatisfaction over the internal fights in the district Congress, Mahesh Kumar Goud said that the discipline was very important in the party and the party leaders should take the upcoming local body and MLC elections seriously.

He suggested that government programmes should be taken widely to the people and the party should be strengthened and work with the aim of winning.

"The party leaders should work hard to ensure that the support of the people is complete for the government. All must work extensively at the field level in coordination with other leaders," Mahesh Kumar Goud said.

He further stated that workers who work for the party must have recognition and the constituency in-charges should work together and get good results.

AICC Telangana in-charge Deepadas Munshi, Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha and party senior leaders were present in the meeting.
