TGBCL invites new liquor brands
Telangana invites new liquor brands

Hyderabad: Telangana Beverages Corporation Limited (TGBCL) has begun the process of inviting new liquor brands to enter the Telangana market.
New companies seeking to introduce liquor brands will be granted permissions in accordance with government guidelines. Both foreign and domestic beer companies not currently operating in Telangana are encouraged to offer their products for sale.
Prospective companies that are not yet registered with TGBCL must submit a certification document affirming that there are no allegations regarding liquor sales against them, as they are successfully selling in other states while adhering to quality standards.
Recently, TGBCL authorised several new companies to market their products in Telangana. However, due to multiple allegations concerning these new brands, sales were subsequently halted.
In light of this, the state government has introduced a new policy aimed at attracting additional liquor brands to Telangana. As a part of this initiative, TGBCL has published an advertisement inviting applications from new suppliers who are registered in Telangana.
Moreover, it has been decided to keep the applications received from new companies online for ten days. The objections received on the applications will be investigated and a decision will be taken on the permissions. Only suppliers registered with TGBCL and supplying can apply for new brands in the existing manner. After all this, the Telangana Beverages Corporation will take a decision on new liquor brands following the government's orders.
