Speaker, Deputy Chairman Leave for Delhi to Attend CPA India Region Conference

Hyderabad: Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar and Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash Mudiraj on Sunday departed for New Delh from the Shamshabad Airport to participate in the 10th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region Conference.

The conference, which is scheduled to take place on September 23 and 24 in New Delhi, will be chaired by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, who is also the Chairperson of the CPA India Region.

Representing Telangana at the 10th CPA India Region Conference, Speaker Prasad Kumar and Deputy Chairman Prakash Mudiraj will engage in discussions alongside other legislative leaders from across the country. Legislative Secretary Dr. V Narasimha Charyulu and Joint Secretary Upender Reddy are also a part of the delegation from Telangana to attend the conference.

The theme of the conference is ‘The Role of Legislative Bodies in the Attainment of Sustainable and Inclusive Development.’
