SCR GM Arun Kumar Jain Presents Safety Awards to Nine Employees

Hyderabad: SCR General Manager Arun Kumar Jain presented “Employee of the Month” safety awards to nine employees during safety review meeting held on Monday at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad. The Employee of the month awards are given to the staff, who have shown alertness and dedication to duty and prevents unsafe conditions.

SCR Additional General Manager Neeraj Agrawal participated in the meeting along with all the Principal Heads of Departments. Divisional Railway Manager’s (DRMs) of all six Divisions - Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur and Nanded joined the review meeting through video conference.

General Manager presented the “Employee of the month” safety awards to the staff pertaining to Secunderabad Division-two, Vijayawada Division-three, Guntakal Division-three and Hyderabad Division-one for showing alertness and taking timely action to prevent unsafe conditions. The employees belong to various categories like loco pilots, Station Masters, and Technicians and so on. The General Manager congratulated the awardees and appreciated them for the commitment in performing their duties with utmost dedication.

Later, General Manager discussed with the DRMs on the status of the ongoing Track renewal works over the zone. Arun Kumar Jain further reviewed the ongoing passenger amenity works such as Foot Over bridges, increasing Platform height, Cover over plat forms, Waiting halls and provision of drinking water facilities and so on and instructed officials to put all efforts to complete the works before the target time.
