SCR GM Administers Swachhata Pledge at Kacheguda Railway Station

Hyderabad: The ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ campaign is being observed from October 1 to 15 with the theme of ‘Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskar Swachhata’. The Swachh Bharat Diwas is being celebrated on Wednesday to mark the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.

On the occasion, SCR General Manager Arun Kumar Jain administered the Swachhata Pledge to officials and staff today at Kacheguda Railway station. Neeraj Agrawal, AGM; Madhusudan Rao, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer; G R S Rao, Principal Chief Personnel Officer; Pradeep Kumar, Chief Administrative Officer, RSP; Lokesh Vishnoi, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division and others also participated.

Arun Kumar Jain along with officials and staff participated in Shramdaan activity at Kacheguda Railway station. He along with the officials cleaned the circulating area of Kacheguda Railway station. The General Manager felicitated 35 Safai Mitras at the station and also distributed prizes to winners of essay writing & drawing competitions held by the zone. A Nukkad Natak show on the theme of cleanliness was performed by Railway employees at the station to spread awareness among the public. A traditional dance ballet on the theme of Swachhata was also performed.
