SCR Conducts Inspection of Karimnagar – Ramagundam – Warangal – Kazipet Section

Hyderabad: Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway (SCR) undertook a detailed inspection of Karimnagar – Ramagundam – Warangal – Kazipet section of Secunderabad Division on Friday. He was accompanied by Bhartesh Kumar Jain, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other senior officials from both the Headquarters and Division throughout the inspection.

Arun Kumar Jain commenced the inspection at Karimnagar Railway station, wherein he reviewed the passenger amenities and circulating area. He also reviewed the progress of on-going redevelopment works at the station undertaken with a cost of Rs. 25.89 crores as part of Amrit Bharat Station scheme (ABSS). He examined the safety procedures and guidelines being followed while carrying out construction works. Further, he carried out a rear window inspection from Karimnagar to Ramagundam section, wherein he reviewed the safety aspects of signals and maintenance of tracks.

The General Manager inspected Ramagundam Railway station. He examined the passenger amenities, circulating area, station master’s office and station records. He also reviewed the redevelopment works undertaken at the station as part of ABSS with a cost of Rs26.49 crore.

Further, the General Manager carried out a detailed inspection of Warangal Railway station, he reviewed the passenger amenities, facilities, waiting hall and also interacted with the passengers at the station. He also visited the Rail coach restaurant at the station and interacted with the customers. Further, he reviewed the progress of on-going redevelopment works at the station undertaken with a cost of Rs. 25.41 crores. He observed the safety precautions and procedures being followed as part of the construction works.

Later, Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager along with senior officials held a safety interaction session with the crew members at Kazipet. The General Manager interacted with the Loco Pilots, Assistant Loco Pilots and Loco Inspectors at Kazipet and enquired about the working environment and reiterated on safety guidelines.
