Power Utility Employees Donate ₹15 Crore to Chief Minister's Relief Fund

Hyderabad: All engineers, employees, artisans and pensioners of Telangana Power Utilities under the aegis of Telangana Power Employees JAC have decided to donate one day of their basic salary to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
In the last few days, heavy rains and floods in Telangana have affected the livelihood of thousands of people. In this regard, the Telangana Power Employees’ JAC wanted to cooperate the State government financially. All the engineers, employees, artisans and pensioners working in Telangana Power Utilities have submitted a memorandum to Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka to donate approximately Rs 15 crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, including the basic salary of one day of the month of September 2024.
Musharraf Ali Farooqui, Chairman & Managing Director, TGSPDCL and Varun Reddy Chairman & Managing Director TG NPDCL presented the cheque in the presence of JAC Chairman G Sai Babu, Convener P Ratnakar Rao, Co-Convener PBC Reddy, Tulsi Das, P Sadanandam, Vice-Chairman. Anil Kumar, M A Wazir, Joint Secretary D Shyam Manohar, K Kumaraswamy, R Sudhakar Reddy, Thulasi Nagarani, M Karunakar Reddy, M Ranji, K Satyanarayana Rao, Vara Prasad, Srinivas and other prominent leaders participated in the program.
