One Held for Trafficking of Ganja Chocolates in City
Ganja chocolates seized in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Cyberabad SOT Madhapur team, along with Petbasheerabad police busted the trafficking of ganja chocolates from Punjab to Hyderabad and nabbed one drug peddler and seized 64 packets of ganja chocolates, 80 gram dry ganja, all worth Rs 1,05,900/-.
On a tip-off, the sleuths of Cyberabad Special Operations Team Madhapur team along with Petbasheerabad police apprehended one drug peddler and recovered 64 packets of Ganja chocolates weighing 12kg 680 gram worth Rs 1,02,400/- transporting from Punjab to Hyderabad.
The accused identified as Tamk Issar Singh, resident of Yellammabanda, Jagadgirigutta, Medchal Malkajgiri District. Accused family migrated to Telangana and settled in Suryapet town and making house hold items. The accused shifted to Gajularamaram ten years back and making household items. He procured Ganja chocolates from unknown drug peddler from Anandpur Sahib of Ranipur District of Punjab and selling to construction labour and others for each packet Rs 40/-.
On enquiry, he revealed that he purchased 12.7 kg Ganja chocolates & 680 gram of dry ganja powder from unknown person at Punjab. On credible information, SOT Madhapur Team & Petbasheerabad Police apprehended the accused at Suchitra crossroad Auto stand.
