One-day Training for MLC Election Personnel Held
Election personnel training held for MLC polls
Hyderabad: Chief Electoral Officer C Sudharshan Reddy stated that a day-long training programme for District Level Master Trainers (DLMTs) was conducted on Tuesday in preparation for the upcoming MLC elections. The training aimed to equip polling personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills for the smooth conduct of elections.
The Election Commission of India has issued a notification for the conduct of Biennial Elections to the Telangana Legislative Council for the following constituencies: Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Graduates’ Constituency; Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar & Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Teachers’ Constituencies; Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Teacher’s Constituency.
The training session was led by M. Jayachandra Reddy, RDO, who is also serving as the State Level Master Trainer (SLMT) for these elections. A total of two DLMTs from each district participated in the training, representing the following districts: Sangareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Adilabad, Kumurambheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hanumakonda, Mahabubabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Jangaon, Mulugu, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla, Jagtial, and Warangal.
The CEO emphasised that such training programs are essential to ensure free, fair, and efficient elections and urged all trained personnel to disseminate the knowledge acquired to polling staff in their respective districts.
