Neeraj Agrawal, Assumes Charge as SCR Addl GM

Hyderabad: Neeraj Agrawal assumed charge as Additional General Manager (AGM), South Central Railway today September 5, 2024 at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad. He belongs to the 1987 batch of Indian Railways Service of Engineers (IRSE).

Prior to the present assignment, he worked as Chief Administrative Officer, Construction, South Central Railway. Neeraj Agrawal held several important posts on Indian Railways and also served as Senior Executive in companies like DFCCIL (Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited) and K-Ride (a JV of Govt. of Karnataka).He began his career on Western

Railway and went on to serve in various zones such as Southern Railway, South Western Railway, East Central Railway and South Central Railway. Some of the important posts held by him are: Chief Projects Manager/DFCCIL (Allahabad); General Manager, DFCCIL (New Delhi); Chief Engineer, New Delhi (MRTS); Sr. Deputy General Manager, Hajipur (East Central Railway); Director, K-RIDE (Bangalore) and Chief Projects Director, South Western Railway.

Neeraj Agrawal, is endowed with vast administrative acumen having undergone training at renowned institutions such as training program on International perspective on Public Policy from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public affairs, Syracuse, USA; Courses on best Practices in HR for performance excellence from MDI, Gurgaon; Enterprise risk management from ISB, Mohali; Strategic Management of tenders and contracts from IPE, Hyderabad; Winter term on high-speed rail system from IIT, Kharagpur; Strategic Management and Leadership from ISB, Mohali; Mega Project-leadership for large infrastructure development in democracies by university of Manchester, U.K.; International training on Electrical module from DFCCIL at Milan, Paris, Barcelona and Capacity building in Anti-Corruption & Ethics, IACA Vienna, Austria.

Neeraj Agrawal has completed his Bachelors of Engineering (Civil) from Government Engineering College, Raipur. He also holds a Masters of Technology degree from Maulana Azad College of Technology, Bhopal and Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.
