Artificial limb measurement camp

Hyderabad: National award-winning NGO Narayan Seva Sansthan is organizing a free camp for the welfare of differently-abled individuals in Telangana. The event will be held on April 6, at Minerva Gardens, Gardens Street, Champapet, Hyderabad.
According to Bhagwan Prasad Gaur, Director of Media & Public Relations at Narayan Seva Sansthan, the organization is committed to empowering and making differently-abled individuals self-reliant. This initiative aims to assist those who have lost their limbs due to accidents or illnesses, as well as those struggling with outdated or heavy artificial limbs. Inspired by Padma Shri awardee Kailash Manav, the organization has been dedicated to serving humanity and the differently-abled for the past 40 years.
Speaking to media persons, Alka Chaudhary, patron of the organization, emphasised the significance of the free camp. She mentioned that a team of experienced ortho and prosthetic doctors from the organization will examine the beneficiaries and take precise measurements for high-quality, lightweight, and durable Narayan Artificial Limbs. These custom-made artificial limbs will be provided free of charge in a fitment camp to be organised approximately two months later.
Camp coordinator Mahendra Singh Rawat said free meals, tea, and refreshments will be provided to the patients and their families attending the camp.
Director Gaur, Patron Chaudhary, Patel, social worker Riddhesh Jagirdar, Abhay Chaudhary, and Coordinator Rawat jointly unveiled the camp’s poster. Jasmat Bhai, another patron, informed that respected individuals and ministers from Hyderabad have been invited to attend the camp.

Those wishing to participate must bring their Aadhar card, disability certificate, and two passport-sized photographs as proof of their disability.
