MGIT Student Felicitated by President and Prime Minister

Hyderabad: Nehasree, a third-year student of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) and an NSS volunteer, was felicitated by the President, Vice-President, Prime Minister and Governor of Telangana on different occasions for her outstanding Kuchipudi dance performances at their official residences.

Earlier, she participated in the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. She was one of the eight participants from Telangana (four boys and four girls) and the only volunteer representing JNTUH-Hyderabad. After being selected from a large pool of competitors, she underwent training in New Delhi for the participation, where she stayed until January 31. Following her participation in the Republic Day Parade, she performed at various official residences, earning recognition and accolades for her exceptional talent.

Principal Prof. G. Chandra Mohan Reddy, Vice-Principal Prof. K. Sudhakar Reddy, Head of the ECE Department Prof. S. P. Singh, and NSS Programme Officer Dr G. Bal Reddy congratulated and felicitated Miss Nehasree. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal mentioned that her achievements would inspire many students. The management, staff, and students of the Institute also extended their congratulations.
