Looters indulging in False Propaganda to Disrupt Caste Census: Bhatti
Hyderabad: Stating that caste census is a historic decision, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said the looters with an ulterior motive are indulging in false propaganda against the survey.
"Once the survey is completed, it will put a stop to exploitation of those who looted people till now. The people’s government will lay foundation to bring the society out of feudal setup and take it towards an equal society," Bhatti asserted.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here on Thursday, Bhatti said that he and Ministers were participating in the face to face programme to understand the thoughts and opinions of people who voted for Congress party keeping faith in the party’s ideology and address their issues.
While the previous government extended its rule from their palatial houses ( Gadis) away from the people, this government including the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and entire Cabinet is ruling from midst of people, he said.
"Ours is people’s government that interacts and works along with people to find solution to their problems. Hence, this government is organising the face to face programme," Bhatti said.
The Deputy Chief Minister said the government kept its focus on education and health in the State . It is starting Young India Integrated Residential Schools to provide world class quality education to poor students. The Cabinet resolved that today’s children are tomorrow’s future and increased hostel charges of students by 40 per cent while the previous BRS government kept this issue aside for 10 years, he said.
The free supply of power upto 200 units, free RTC bus travel to women, supply of gas cylinder at Rs.500 each and construction of Indiramma houses at Rs5 lakh each are some of the victories of people’s government elected by people, the Deputy Chief Minister said.
The Congress government has promised to issue notification for recruitment if elected to power and as promised filled 50,000 posts within one year. The previous government could not conduct Group I exam for 10 long years . The Congress government without delay conducted the Group I exam successfully without any paper leakages, Bhatti reminded.
The Deputy Chief Minister stated that keeping women who comprise 50 per cent of population in mind, the people’s government is striving to extend Rs20,000 crore to Rs25,000 crore interest free loans per year to women and Rs 1 lakh crore interest free loans to women in five years to develop them as entrepreneurs.
"Earlier one only thought of Adani and Ambani when one talked about industries and production. But, we brought them down the peg and gave priority to members of Self Help Groups. The State government made agreement with them for generation of 1000 MW solar power. It would also purchase RTC buses and give them to women groups so that they could lease them to RTC," Bhatti said.
