Komatireddy Assures Small Contractors on Clearing Pending Bills
Komatireddy assures all help to small contractors

Hyderabad: Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has committed to addressing the issue of outstanding payments owed to small contractors.
Representatives from the Builders Association met the Minister on Monday, expressing their concerns about the significant challenges they are facing due to pending payments totaling nearly Rs. 100 crore for services rendered by small contractors.
During the meeting, Minister Komatireddy assured attendees that he would communicate with the Chief Minister and work towards ensuring that these payments are disbursed by the end of March.
The representatives highlighted that settling these outstanding bills would allow ongoing projects to proceed more efficiently without delays. They also requested the Minister's assistance in discussing the pending payments for projects in Left Wing Affected Areas, CRIF, and non-planned roads.
The Minister advised contractors not to forget that roads are a basic need for the people and that if the roads are not in good condition, people will face difficulties.
On the occasion, representatives of the Builders Association expressed their delight at the immediate response of Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
Those who met the Minister included former state chairman of the Builders Association DVN Reddy, another former chairman Devender Reddy, vice chairman of the Builders Association Ravinder Reddy, treasurer Santosh Reddy, Sampath Rao, Krishna Rao, and others.
