Hyderabad: Asserting that BRS working president KT Rama Rao is telling blatant lies on the ownership of a farmhouse situated at Janwada village of Rangareddy district, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud stated that the farmhouse belongs to the BRS leader.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday, Mahesh Kumar Goud alleged that KT Rama Rao was trying to escape from the issue of Janwada farmhouse by telling blatant lies and said that the land of Janwada farmhouse was in the name of KTR's wife, Shailima.
"If KTR has courage, he should allow authorities for the demolition of Janwada farmhouse constructed on FTL of water bodies. In the police records, it has been clearly mentioned that the farmhouse belongs to KT Rama Rao," he said.
The Congress MLC said that the farmhouse was constructed illegally by demolishing nalas which constitute the catchment areas of two major lakes-Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar.
Mahesh Kumar Goud appreciated Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for constituting the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) and said that the chief minister was taking stringent action against the illegal structures.
