Govt to conduct Sadar Sammelan officially every year: CM Revanth
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has said that the State government will officially conduct the Sadar Sammelanam every year.
"I am giving instructions to the officials from this platform to organise the Sadar Sammelan officially every year from onwards," the Chief Minister said.
Participating in the Sadar Sammelan at NTR Stadium here on Sunday, the Chief Minister said the role of the Yadav brothers in the development of the city of Hyderabad is significant and it is a delightful moment for the State that the prestigious Sadar festival is organised in Hyderabad city.
"Sadar means Khadar of Yadavs". There is a need to organise the Sadar festival in the villages also," Revanth Reddy said.
Stating that the yadav brothers nurtured livestock in the city of Hyderabad and the community used to grow cattle fodder on the banks of Musi catchment area, the Chief Minister urged them to extend their support for the Musi rejuvenation project.
"I am appealing to the Yadav community to support the government in the development of Hyderabad. Despite the hurdles being created by some forces, the Congress government has taken the responsibility of developing the Hyderabad city on an international level. We are going to improve the living standards of people living in the Musi catchment area," Revanth Reddy said.
He further stated that the yadav brothers should also utilise the opportunities and said that Congress leader Anjan Kumar Yadav would have been the minister in the State cabinet if he won the election from Mursheerabad Assembly Constituency. Though Anjan Kumar yadav lost elections, the Congress party gave MP post to Anil Kumar Yadav by giving importance to the Yadav community, the Chief Minister disclosed
Stating that Lord Krishna always stood on the side of righteousness (dharma) and it is the reason evil forces are defeated and dharma has clinched victory, the Chief Minister appealed to the Yadav community to stand by righteousness and to conquer unjust.
