GHMC Standing Committee Approves nine Proposals
Hyderabad: The 6th standing committee meeting chaired by GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi was held at the GHMC headquarters here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor said nine items and one table item were approved by the members at the committee meeting. GHMC Commissioner Ilambarthi, Standing Committee members Bannala Geetha Praveen Mudiraj, Mohammed Muzaffar Hussain, Faheed-bin-Abdul Samad, Mohammad Qadir, Mohammed Naseeruddin, Mohammed Ghouse Uddin, Manne Kavitha Reddy, Mohammed Rasheed Farauddin, Uppalapati Srikanth, Sabiha Begum, Chintala Vijay Shanthi, Kandi Shailaja, Additional Commissioners Nalini Padmavathi, Saroja, Hemant Keshav Patil, Ravi Kiran, Upender Reddy, Venkanna, SE Ratnakar, Venugopal Reddy, Account Examiner Venkateswara Reddy, Secretary Satyanarayana and others were present on the occasion.
As the re-modelling of Nagamayya Kunta Nala under SNDP has been completed at a cost of Rs19.34 crore, the GHMC has sanctioned Rs3 crore for the construction of the proposed box drain for the extension of nala with available SNDP surplus funds. The committee also approved the acquisition of 174 properties under GHMC limits for the development of the road from Habibnagar to Chandrayangutta Main Road and from Riyasat Nagar to Habibnagar via Papa Lal Temple.
The committee approved the revised proposals for the proposed increase from 24 metres to 30 metres from FCI Godown Road to Cherlapally Railway Border via IOCL to Grossen Healthcare Pvt Ltd through the GHMC Commissioner informing the government through the GHMC Commissioner to recommend to the government through the Corporation for acquisition of six properties in the revised RDP.
The committee has approved the distribution of sports material worth Rs2 lakh to each corporator division for conducting sports programmes in 150 wards under GHMC limits. The Committee approved the income and expenditure related to GHMC for the month of August 2024. The Committee approved the ratification of GHMC for sanction of additional post in Secunderabad Zone to extend the services of computer operator (B. Nagaraju) working in GHMC Mayor's Camp Office on outsourcing basis.
