Konda Surekha for proper arrangements for Sarswati Pushkaralu
Hyderabad: The State government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is gearing up for the Saraswati Pushkaralu, scheduled to be held in May 2025 at Kaleshwaram.
Minister for Forests, Environment and Endowments Konda Surekha held a review meeting with officials at the Secretariat here on Friday and discussed about the preparations to ensure seamless arrangements for the religious event.
Speaking on the occasion, Konda Surekha emphasised the need for clean sanitation, adequate drinking water supply, uninterrupted power, temporary toilets, medical facilities, and special bus services for devotees.
She urged all departments to work in coordination to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for the anticipated influx of devotees from Telangana and nearby States.
The meeting was attended by key officials, including Endowments department Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramayar, Commissioner Sridhar, Telangana Tourism Corporation MD Prakash Reddy, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli District Collector Rahul Sharma, SP Kiran, RJC Ramakrishna Rao, Additional Commissioner Krishnaveni, Assistant Commissioner Sunitha, Conservation Architect Surya Narayana Murthy, and Kaleshwaram Temple EO Maruti, among others.
