Cow Honour Movement: Gau Dhwaj Establishment Bharat Yatra from Sept 22
Cow Dhwaj Yatra from Sept 22
Hyderabad: Pujya Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand will establish the Go Dhwaj and address the Cow Assembly on October 9. Later, he will proceed to the next destination of the Yatra.
Addressing media persons, Brahmachari Mukundanand, representative of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananada Saraswati said Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand will reach Hyderabad to establish the Go Dhwaj (Cow Flag) and declare the cow as the "Mother of the Nation."
In Sanatan Dharma, the cow has been glorified in the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, and other religious scriptures. The cow is not just considered an animal, but is revered as a mother, a sentiment deeply held by Sanatan Dharmi Hindus. To honour the religious faith, a nationwide Cow Honour Movement is being carried out to remove the cow from the State list and place it on the Central list, thereby conferring upon it the status of "Mother of the Nation" and striving to make India free from cow slaughter.
A "Cow Parliament" has also been organised to pass laws for the cow, including the Rama Cow Honor Code Bill, and 42 points of religious decrees have been approved by the revered Jagadgurus. To ignite the movement, the sacred cow ghee lamp has been lit, and the revered Jagadguru Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Ji Maharaj of Jyotirmath has provided direction to the movement. From March 14 to March 28, 2024, Shankaracharya Ji also walked barefoot in a pilgrimage from Govardhan to Delhi. Under his leadership, the Cow Honor Movement is progressing throughout the country, and this year has been declared as the Cow Year.
Under the guidance and leadership of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand , the Go Dhwaj Establishment Bharat Yatra will be held across the country from September 22 to October 26 . The Yatra will travel to the capitals of all 37 States of India, where a Go Dhwaj will be established. Pujya Gopal Mani Maharaj, convener of the Cow Honor Movement, will accompany Shankaracharya at every step to ensure the success of the Yatra.
Grand Cow Honor Conferences will be held in the capitals of each State, beginning in Ayodhya, the capital of Lord Ram, where Lord Ram Lalla resides. The Yatra will pass through the east, west, south, and north, concluding in Delhi, the capital of India, on October 26. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Ji will also honor dedicated cow devotees from across the nation.
