Conspiracies to Desecrate Srisailam Temple, Alleges Raja Singh
Conspiracy to desecrate temple alleged

Hyderabad: BJP MLA Raja Singh today alleged that conspiracies were being hatched to desecrate Srisailam temple in Kurnool district of neighbouring AP State. He claimed that even during the rule of YSR government, most of the Muslims were allotted shops on the premises of Srisailam shrine and added that some Hindu organisations approached court and secured stay against the orders of the then State government.
"On Saturday, when some Shiva Swamis asked authorities about the reason behind the allotment of the shops to some Muslims, the local police did lathi-charge against them. Lakhs of devotees go to Srisailam for Maha Shivaratri and there is a conspiracy to damage the sanctity of the temple," he claimed. Singh said he was appealing to the AP CM and the Deputy CM to ensure that there were no shops of any other religion near the Hindu temples while claiming that the courts are also advocating the same thing. He alleged that a local leader and the EO of the temple was supporting the Muslims and helping them. He warned the temple EO and the police to not attack the Shiva Swamis again.
