Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud has come down heavily on BRS president and opposition leader K Chandrashekar Rao for taking rest in his farmers while the people of Telangana are suffering from the flood related problems.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, Mahesh Kumar Goud said the Telangana State suffered a huge loss due to heavy rains and crops cultivated in hundreds of acres were damaged.
"At the time of crisis situation, the Telangana people thought that K Chandrashekar Rao would play an active role as the responsible opposition leader and give suggestions to the State government on the rain damages. But, he is confined to his farm house and is least bothered about the people's problems," he said.
The Congress MLC also slammed BRS working president KT Rama Rao for spreading malicious propaganda on the social media against the State government while relaxing in England.
"KTR is on a vacation in England, but is tweeting on the social media against the State government, forgetting his social responsibility as the leader of opposition party," he pointed out.
