Hyderabad: Colorplast has condemned the false and misleading claims made in the recent media reports regarding the alleged use of “Chinese chips” & “Data security breach”.

The company clears in a press release that it had no role to play in the data of customers as the contract was for supply of blank cards. Data printing/personalisation was not part of the awarded scope of work therefore there is no possibility on “data breach”

And company added that none of the cards supplied with reference to this case have ever been returned on the basis of poor quality and even The NIC (National Informatics Centre) testing report has found no credibility in the alleged use of “Chinese chips” in the cards supplied by company.

As a well established organisation with a 23-year-old legacy, the company has always maintained the highest standards of ethics, ensuring all our products adhere with global standards and best industry practices, added the release.
