Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed the officials to take all precautionary measures to ensure the smooth conduct of Hyderabad Ganesh immersion which is to be held on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister on Monday held a review meeting at the Command Control Center regarding the arrangements and supervision of the immersion process. Hyderabad Police Commissioner C V Anand, along with other senior police officials, attended the meeting.

Commissioner Anand briefed the Chief Minister on the surveillance measures in place, mentioning that the immersion process is being monitored across Greater Hyderabad through 733 CCTV cameras.

The Chief Minister emphasised the need for special monitoring at key locations, including Tank Bund, major immersion points and lakes. He instructed that in addition to continuous monitoring, staff should receive alerts and guidance from the Command Control every hour to ensure heightened vigilance.

Revanth Reddy stressed the importance of paying extra attention to problematic areas and directed the officials to maintain a record of blind spots and hotspots to ensure effective surveillance. He also instructed them to take proactive measures to avoid any disruptions or issues during the immersion process.
