Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has alleged that former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao has ruined Telangana State for the last ten years and now, he is obstructing its development.

Addressing a public meeting at Vemulawada in Rajanna Sircilla district on Wednesday as part of the Praja Palana – Praja Vijayotsavalu celebrations, the Chief Minister said the Congress government had done many development works in ten months that the previous BRS government could not do in ten years.

"The main opposition party remained the same though they were defeated in the elections. BRS drew a blank in the Lok Sabha elections. But, looking at their pretense, it seems that their brains have also lost. What did the BRS do for ten years? They are asking us to get out of here in 10 months. Our party activists know where to administer medicine for pain," Revanth Reddy said.

He alleged that former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao had spent Rs 1,23,000 crore in the name of Kaleshwaram project, but he didn't complete any project.

"Can KCR say that he has provided water to the people. BRS leader Harish Rao built a farmhouse on the lands acquired for Ranganayak Sagar project while the Kondapochamma Sagar was built to supply water to KCR's farmhouse. We will do all the calculations and make it public," he disclosed.

The Chief Minister also alleged that the opposition was creating hurdles for land acquisition to establish industries and provide jobs to the locals in Kodangal Assembly constituency.

"Some forces have created ‘Rowdy’ gangs and instigated them to attack the officials," he said.

Stating that the land acquisition is a must for development, the Chief Minister stated that the State government is taking care of those who lost their lands and are suffering and has decided to enhance the compensation.

The Chief Minister also made sensational remarks on BRS working president KT Rama Rao, stating that KTR will be landed behind the bars for hatching conspiracies even if he goes to Delhi and moon.

He further said that the State government is planning to set up a Gulf Board for the welfare of Gulf workers, providing accident insurance of Rs5 lakh to those who die in accidents.
