Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated the new campus of Cognizant Technology Solutions in city on Wednesday.
Addressing the gathering at the inaugural, he said, “We just returned after a ten-day trip to USA and South Korea. I am happy to say that every businessman and corporate leaders we met in America and Korea are positive to invest in Telangana and Hyderabad. Our ambition is to transform Telangana into a trillion-dollar economy in the next 10 years.
I have assured full support for Cognizant's expansion. Cognizant is very popular in Hyderabad. The city of Hyderabad has a history of more than four hundred years. The foundation for the development of IT in Hyderabad was laid with the efforts of Rajiv Gandhi. After that Chandrababu Naidu and YS Rajasekhar Reddy continued the development of IT, Cyberabad City was developed. Like Hyderabad, Cognizant has grown step by step, Revanth added.
Cognizant is recognised as the second largest employer in the State. Even if there are political differences, there are no arguments in developing Hyderabad.
Like Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Cyberabad, we are going to develop the fourth city- the future city.
The development of Future City proves what our sincerity is. Our competition is not with AP, Karnataka, but our competition is with the world. There is no city like Hyderabad anywhere in the neighboring States. Hyderabad city is an ideal place for investment. This is a platform for industrialists. Come and invest. Telangana government will provide you with all the facilities you need, the CM exhorted the industrialists.
The Future State of Telangana has three rings, he said and elaborated, “First is the core urban area of Hyderabad. The second is a semi-urban area where we are going to set up a manufacturing facility. The third is rural Telangana outside the Regional Ring Road.”
