Aramghar flyover inaugurated
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy officially inaugurated the Zoo Park - Aramghar flyover in Hyderabad on Monday.
During his address, he highlighted that the largest flyover on the PVNR Express Highway was constructed by former Chief Minister Y S Rajashekhara Reddy during the Congress administration.
He noted that the current Congress government has successfully completed the construction of the city’s second-largest flyover, thereby competing with the achievements of the previous Congress regime.
The Chief Minister emphasised that since assuming office, the Congress government has been diligently working to address various challenges facing the community.
He stated, "The State government is collaborating with All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) to enhance the development of Hyderabad city. We engage in political activities solely during election periods, yet we unite with all stakeholders for the advancement of Hyderabad. The completion of the Regional Ring Road will significantly contribute to the further development of Telangana.”
The Chief Minister emphasised that this city is not an ancient one, but rather the original city. He announced that the State government will commence the construction of a cable bridge over Mir Alam Tank, aiming to transform it into a premier tourist destination.
"We are prepared to allocate funds for development, with the public representatives bearing the responsibility for the project's completion. Furthermore, the foundation stone for the new Osmania Hospital at Goshamahal will be laid in the near future," disclosed Revanth Reddy.
Additionally, the Chief Minister proposed naming the upcoming flyover in honour of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, who recently passed away.
