Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy handed over appointment letters to the newly selected candidates in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Addressing the gathering, he said, “The previous government did not consider the recruitment of jobs as its responsibility despite issuing notifications to fill the vacancies. After a long wait, the job aspirants lost faith in that government.”

The unemployed youth sounded the bugle for jobs against the previous government. “I had told the youth to throw the previous government out for not sticking to their promise on jobs. Rightly so, the agitating youth gave the mandate to Congress,” the chief minister reiterated.

“My government gave appointment orders to 30,000 selected candidates within 90 days of coming to power at the same place where we took oath,” the CM said.

To add to the festive cheers in every family during the Dasara, government handed over appointment letters now. It is a delightful moment that appointment orders are given to as many as 1,635 selected candidates.

The seperate State of Telangana has been formed by the sacrifices of numerous youth. All the newly recruited persons will be part of the rebuilding of the Telangana State. It is not only a job but an emotion. Be responsible in discharging your responsibilities in the job.

“Emulate the celebrated engineer Mokshagundam Vishveshwaraiah who quenched the thirst of millions of Hyderabad people. The city is the hub of wonderful buildings constructed hundreds of years ago,” Revanth Reddy said .

“KCR gave jobs to all of his family members. Why KCR did not give jobs to those who were selected through 2015 job notification? KCR exploited the sacrifices of the unemployed youth and the greatness of the Telangana movement as a shield. Today they are exposed and speaking in their own terms,” Revanth Reddy said.

Government will hand over appointment letters to 11,063 selected teachers on October 9. It is our responsibility, the chief minister said.

The chief minister said, “Notwithstanding the hurdles, we will take up the project, the government will take up the Musi Riverfront Development project.”

“Why should the people of Musi catchment areas live in stinking environment?” He questioned, and added that the government will construct houses for the displaced and also provide them a better future.

“It is not good on part of the Opposition to obstruct the project,” he said and asked them come out with good suggestions instead. Although Eatala Rajendar changed the party colours he is toeing the KTR and Harish line. “My appeal to Eatala is to stand by the poorer sections,” the chief said, and added “Visiting the Musi area is not enough to understand the problem.”

“KTR, Harish and Eatala Rajendar should stay for a week in the houses along Musi river and then only they will know the dwellers plight,” the CM said.
