CM Revanth Directs Issuance of New Ration Cards

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed officials to promptly organise the distribution of new ration cards.
He emphasised that all eligible individuals should receive these cards and recommended that families who have previously submitted applications be informed and advised against reapplying.
Revanth Reddy has mandated swift action to distribute the cards in districts where the election code for the MLC is not applicable.
The Chief Minister held a meeting with officials here on Monday and also reviewed various designs for the new cards.
It is known that the process for issuing new ration cards in Telangana State has been going on for several days. The State government is also providing an opportunity to those who apply for new ones while considering the applications.
The people are flocking to Mee Seva Centers to apply. However, some incidents are reported that even though the people have handed over the applications to the officials concerned, many are still trying to apply again for Mee Seva Centers.
Due to the MLC election code that is in force in some districts, the process of issuing new ration cards is not moving forward. Taking this development into consideration, the Chief Minister ordered immediate steps to be taken to issue cards in districts where the MLC election code is not in effect.
