Child Sexual Crimes Under Guise of Spirituality, Isha Ashram administrators calm!

Hyderabad: Former faculty Yamini Ragani and former regional Committee Member of AP&TS Satya N Ragani said the internationally famous Isha Foundation is a breeding ground for child sexual abusers under the guise of spirituality. She said the administrators of the ashram are acting arbitrarily without following the rules.

Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, Ragani said more than 8,000 students are studying in different schools - Isha Vidya, Isha Sanskruti and Isha Home School under the auspices of Isha Education. Will the Isha Foundation / Isha Education management, trustees, especially the founder Jaggi Vasudev (Sadhguru) be held responsible for the crimes committed against girls?, They asked and alleged that girls from Isha Sanskriti were subjected to half-naked spiritual initiations in the name of educational programs at the Isha Centre.

They said when an eight-year-old girl was raped multiple times in school, they were silenced from coming out. It was also alleged that a 13-year-old boy was molested for three years. The founder of Isha foundation Sadhguru claims that he is a realized soul and is full of compassion, never opens his mouth on the atrocities being committed against the students of Isha Sanskruti and Isha Home School.

Ragani explained that the death (on June 21, 2024, the International Yoga Day) of a 16-year-old boy studying in class 12, happened due to negligence of the management. They demanded that the Central and State Governments immediately respond and take action against these atrocities committed by Isha Foundation / Isha Education in the guise of human welfare without following the guidelines laid down by Centre / State and Educational boards.
