AICC Holds Discussion with Telangana Congress Leaders on Cabinet Expansion
AICC discusses Telangana cabinet expansion

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal in New Delhi to discuss cabinet expansion, the second phase of nominated posts and various internal matters concerning the Congress party in Telangana.
On Monday evening, Telangana Congress leaders arrived in Delhi at the request of the party's high command. Accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, and AICC Telangana In-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, the Chief Minister engaged in extensive discussions with KC Venugopal regarding several party-related issues.
The primary focus of their discussions was the expansion of the cabinet, which currently has six vacant positions. Reports suggest that Congress leaders have urged the party leadership to fill these vacancies in the cabinet, taking into account caste considerations and other social factors, as was previously promised.
March 30 marks the Ugadi festival, and reports indicate that the party leadership is committed to finalising the cabinet formation by this date. There are discussions suggesting that leaders from the Telangana Congress party have been summoned to Delhi for this purpose.
Meanwhile, there is currently no representation from the Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Adilabad, and Nizamabad districts in the cabinet, leading to increased competition among leaders from various social groups in those areas. In Nizamabad, Sudarshan Reddy and several other names are being mentioned. Similarly, in Adilabad, Prema Sagar Rao and MLA Vivek are also in consideration.
The name Vakati Srihari Mudiraj is being suggested, along with Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy from Nalgonda district. Moreover, it has been reported that discussions took place about offering a cabinet position to Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy if Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy secures a victory in the MP elections from Bhuvanagiri, a rumor that gained significant attention previously.
It has also been revealed that Vijayashanti's name, who was elected as an MLC through the MLA quota, is expected to be mentioned in the current discussions regarding the formation of the cabinet.
