Hyderabad: In an inspiring effort to promote wellness among students, Agarwal Siksha Samiti, in collaboration with The Butterfly Project and Vascular Education foundation organised a student's wellness programme "Healthy Minds, Healthy Lives" by a team of Doctors and healthcare professionals.

The Trust Board Chairman of Agarwal Siksha Samiti, Dr Shyam Sundar Agarwal presented welcome address. Honorary Secretary CA Naveen Kumar Agarwal said this session will be beneficial for the students to lead a healthy life.

The session focused on equipping students with knowledge and tools needed to lead healthier lives both mentally and physically. Dr Vishwanath Atreya, Dr Gowtham Krishna and Dr Sweta Sharma briefed about the butterfly project. Dr PC Gupta, Clinical Director, HOD, Dept. of Vascular Surgery, Care Hospital spoke about importance of health. Dr Sravanthi Reddy, Senior Consultant Pediatrician, Continental Hospitals, Dr Preethi, Dr Havya Polavarapu, Consultant Gynecologist and Obstetrician, KIMS, Sunshine Hospitals also spoke.

An Eye Screening camp was conducted and 254 students were screened for refractory errors.
