Aadi Srinivas Slams KTR Over Defections

Hyderabad: Government Whip Aadi Srinivas gave a strong counter to the remarks made by BRS working president KT Rama Rao on party defections.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Aadi Srinivas advised KTR to tone down his arrogance. "You, who have been the face of defections in the last ten years, are preaching morals? You, who have welcomed over 60 opposition MLAs, MLCs, and MPs into your party, are now speaking against defections?" he lashed out.

He continued his criticism: "Who was the mastermind behind luring opposition MLAs to Pragathi Bhavan, wrapping them in the pink scarf of BRS? Who was the one visiting opposition leaders’ homes, enticing and threatening them to join your party? Who orchestrated the deals with opposition legislators and brought them to Pragathi Bhavan? You talk of mergers and spew blatant lies, while swallowing up other parties. You and your father’s unpopular strategies over the last ten years have been witnessed by the people of Telangana," Aadi Srinivas fumed.

"The Kalvakuntla family has been exposed. The people of Telangana are well aware of your defection politics. KTR, stop your hollow words. Why do you repeatedly comment on matters that are still in court? Despite the people rejecting you in the Lok Sabha elections, you continue to babble for the media. The days when you will be held accountable in Telangana are very near," he criticised.

"You talk about by-elections, but what have you accomplished in the elections that have already passed? We defeated you in the Assembly, crushed you in Parliament, and wiped you out in the Cantonment by-election. If by-elections come again, we will make sure that both you and your party become irrelevant," Aadi Srinivas cautioned.
