65 Agri-Business Students Receive Degrees in MANAGE Convocation

Hyderabad: National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad organised its 8th Convocation 2024 ceremony to award degrees to 65 successful students of Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Agri-Business Management) - PGDM (ABM) and presented medals to meritorious students on Tuesday on its campus in Rajendranagar, here.
Bhagirath Choudhary, Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, virtually attended the event as the chief guest and addressed the students and highlighted to keep farmers' welfare at the forefront in their jobs and future endeavours. He motivated the awardee students to be key players to realise the dream of Prime Minister’s Vikasit Bharath in 2047. He appreciated the role of MANAGE in developing techno-managers in agri-business sector for the development of agriculture and farmers.
Yogita Rana, Director General of MANAGE and Joint Secretary (INM), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare distributed degrees to students from the 2022-24 batch of PGDM (ABM) and presented gold, silver, and bronze medals to the meritorious students. She also awarded and felicitated outstanding Alumni of PGDM (ABM) for their contribution to agricultural development. She also distributed medals to 12 students of Post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Extension Management (PGDAEM) and six students from Post-Graduate Diploma in Agri-Warehousing Management (PGDAWM) programs offered by MANAGE.
Rana, emphasised that the primary goal of the ABM program is to develop human resources focused on advancing agriculture and promoting farmers' welfare. She encouraged students to maintain high ethical standards, love their work, approach it with enthusiasm, and nurture a passion for excellence in their future endeavours. Anand Reddy, Principal Coordinator, PGDM (ABM) coordinated the proceedings of the convocation. More than 250 people, including students and their parents, MANAGE faculty and staff attended the convocation function.
