Vijayawada: Noted lawyer and YSRCP Rajya Sabha member S Niranjan Reddy has sought a direction from Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for removal of blocking of signals of Sakshi TV, TV 9 and few other channels.

In a complaint lodged to TRAI Chairman on Tuesday, he said the decision to block was taken by the Andhra Pradesh Cable Operators’ Association after the change in the government. He said the decision is against the letter and spirit of a Supreme Court direction in a similar case and urged TRAI to intervene immediately to sort out the issue.
