WhatsApp Testing New Custom Chat Theme Feature for Android Users
WhatsApp is testing the chat themes in version 2.24.20.12 beta for Android.

With the aim of providing users with a new experience, WhatsApp is rolling out a new chat theme feature.
This feature will allow you not only to customize chat windows but also to alter the conversation appearance with preset themes.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is testing the chat themes in version 2.24.20.12 beta for Android.
Android Authority has revealed that there are some existing preset colors, but users can activate only a limited selection. By the time this new chat feature become available to all, users will have access to multiple wallpapers.
WhatsApp may also allow users to adjust darkness levels when switching modes. However, these themes will only be visible to you.
This new feature is part of Meta’s efforts to comply with the European Union’s Digital Markets Act.
