After Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit, Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra complimented Anant Ambani's Vantara, a vast wildlife preservation facility in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Reposting one of the PM posts from his recent visit to Vantara, Anand said, "Having visited Vantara myself, I echo the sentiments of PM@narendramodi; the level of care and expertise that Anant Ambani has put together at Vantara is truly impressive and cutting-edge. It is heartening to see animals that have experienced such misfortune find a safe and nurturing home."

About Vantara Wildlife Conservation

Vantara was inaugurated in 2024 during the wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The facility, which spans nearly 3,000 acres, is dedicated to sheltering over 1.5 lakh rescued, endangered, and threatened animals from over 2,000 species.

Unlike traditional zoological parks, Vantara, also known as Animal Sevalaya, is not a zoo or a museum but a zoological service centre where rescued animals receive medical care and rehabilitation. Once they recover, they are reintroduced into their natural habitats.

Furthermore, last month, Vantara was awarded the 'Prani Mitra National Award,’ India's highest honour in animal welfare, by the Government of India.
