The Pahalgam attack on Tuesday evening took the life of 35 year old bengaluru techie killed, bengaluru techie killed in Pahalgam Bharath Bhushan along with 25 other people from his city. Authorities shot the 35-year-old Bengaluru techie to death after he declared his Hindu faith.

Bhushan was hit in the head the presence by his spouse doctor Sujatha and their son, who is 3 years old. Dr Sujatha is a paediatrician in the Ramaiah Hospital. The family members were attacked with terrorists Bhushan carried his child, and Sujatha was right beside him.

The terrorists demanded Bhushan to deliver this child over to Sujatha and then inquired about his name. When they heard their name, the terrorists inquired whether they were Hindu or Muslim. The 35-year-old techie shot dead after he said "Hindu".

In addition, the 35 year old bengaluru techie killed in pahalgam attack told the media that he came learn of his son's death in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

"I read about it in a Kannada newspaper during my morning walk. My legs gave way. I didn't know what to do. My family had kept it a secret from me and my wife," the journalist said to The Times of India.

Before he was murdered, Bharath called his father from Kashmir and took them to the beautiful views. He also told them that he, along with daughter and wife, were on their way to Pahalgam.

On Tuesday night, around 7 pm at 7pm, his older son Preetham informed his family that Bharath suffered injuries in Pahalgam and he would be taking a flight to Kashmir to take Bharath back.

"Sujatha's brother also went. They said it wasn't serious, and they'd bring him home. The flight was originally scheduled to leave at 11 am, but they finally flew out at 2 am," the tech's father said.

She said the terrorists asked their victims whether they're Hindu and continued to shoot until they dropped to the floor.

"They apparently asked if you were Hindu and then shot them, they were shot because they were Hindus, they shot my son-in-law...They didn't shoot women and children, but shot the men in the head. They kept shooting till they fell down," she added.
