Both targeting investments at Davos; six Indian States put up stalls at India Pavilion

Hyderabad: After arrival in Zurich in Switzerland, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minster N Chandrababu Naidu and his Telangana counterpart A Revanth Reddy held an informal meeting on Monday. They discussed development programmes being implemented in both the Telugu States and various investment opportunities.
Later, delegations from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh proceeded to Davos to take part in the World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting. Telangana delegation travelled to Davos from Zurich by train.
CM Revanth Reddy is accompanied by IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu and senior officials of the Industries Department. Revanth Reddy was scheduled to meet several industrialists on the first day in Davos and showcase Telangana’s potential as the global investment destination.
Meanwhile, AP CM Naidu posted on his X handle “a heartfelt thank you to our Telugu family in Europe for the warm and gracious welcome in Davos!” Earlier, he stated “we’re ready to put Andhra Pradesh back on the global investment map. I’m leading a delegation from GoAP to the 55th Annual Meeting of the @wef in Davos-Kiosters, Switzerland. See you in Davos!”
Andhra Pradesh, Telangana along with Uttar Pradesh and three other States have put up stalls at Indian Pavilion. The Indian Government delegation is led by Union Minister and former IAS officer Ashwini Vaishnaw. Naidu is expected to hold discussions with business leaders for investments in green energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and port-led development. IT Minister Nara Lokesh and Industries Minister TG Bharat are part of the AP delegation.
